The Leadership in Action Award will recognize an individual that has made a significant impact on their company. Rank or tenure will not matter when selecting a recipient. We feel that this change to the award criteria and designation will positively represent and recognize our leaders within the industry.
We invite and encourage you to nominate an individual who has successfully contributed and has made an impact to your company. The recipient of the Leadership in Action Award will receive a scholarship to attend the “University of Industrial Distribution” program at Purdue University or attend the NAFCD 2009 Fall University Program. This includes housing, meals and all course materials. The company of the recipient will also be recognized in NAFCDs Strategy and industry trade publications and will receive a plaque at the NAFCD Annual Meeting in recognition of their employee’s achievement.
In order to nominate someone you feel would be a candidate for this award, please complete the enclosed brief nomination form and submit to NAFCD Headquarters. You can also visit www.nafcd.org and submit the form electronically. Nominations are being accepted now through August 15th.
